Quoted from an email forwarded my way:
“I lead an undergraduate research project (https://blogs.miamioh.edu/oedipodinae-project/) that aims to be interdisciplinary and teach students a variety of skills. My current students are biologists and geographers but there are certain tasks for which I need to look outside our department. One task is to shoot a short but professional video that would introduce our project to the public. I envision a video that would mainly introduce my students and their projects but would also include footage of the grasshoppers and possibly simple animations to document the key concepts of our project. I understand that this is not something that can be achieved over one semester so I would ideally envision a student that would stay with us for multiple semesters. I can offer credit or pay (up to 6 hrs a week during a semester and 20 hrs a week over summer). The video (even if still in progress) would eventually become part of broader impacts for a planned NSF proposal.”
